Director of Artist Engagement

The Sphinx Organization is a national organization dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts. This position reports to the Chief Programming Officer and is directly responsible for oversight and working with all Sphinx Artists. The Director of Artist Engagement manages all aspects of the Sphinx Virtuosi tour, Sphinx Soloist Program, Sphinx Symphony Orchestra, in addition to aspects of the nationally renowned Sphinx Competition.

Successful candidates will possess the following basic qualities/requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 2 years experience in related field

- Strong sense of accountability and professional ownership
- Commitment to creativity and innovation
- Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel

Annual salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications. The Sphinx Organization provides a comprehensive benefit package for full-time employees, including contribution towards a retirement plan. In a ROWE environment, there are unlimited paid days off, provided the work gets done. Candidates should anticipate national and international travel as the position requires.
