Assistant Professor or Instructor of Spanish, tenure-track position, starting September 1, 2015.  Ph.D. or advanced ABD in Spanish. Area: U. S. Latino/a literature and culture.  Applicants must have native or near-native command of Spanish and extensive experience and demonstrated excellence in language and literature teaching. Principal responsibilities include teaching 5 courses (language and literature) per academic year. Send cover letter, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, statement of teaching philosophy and research interests, evidence of teaching performance, and sample of current scholarship (if ABD submit all approved dissertation chapters) to: spanishsearches@colby.edu .
