Job Summary

Operates the computerized checking system that determines access eligibility to the cafeterias. Greets dining service patrons pleasantly, verifies student identification/board eligibility for specific meals, and verifies meal counts. This is an evening shift, 10pm - 2:30am.

Education/Skills Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.

Skills: Must be able to consistently follow both verbal and written directions and perform simple math.

Additional skills: A strong customer service orientation with positive, friendly, helpful attitude is required. Must work well independently and be industrious and employ good problem solving skills. Must demonstrate good personal hygiene practices.

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

Some experience in a commercial foodservice establishment preferred but will train appropriate candidates.

Standard Work Days and Hours

This is an evening shift, 10pm - 2:30am. Added hourly pay differentials for second shift (7%) and third shift (10%) apply.
