Salary: $120,515.00

Position Description:

The Vice President for Student Affairs will be an experienced and dynamic educational leader who serves as the senior student affairs officer for Baltimore City Community College. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this position will be responsible for sustaining BCCC’s commitment to a comprehensive program of educational support services for students and overseeing all enrollment management initiatives.  The Vice President will be involved in strategic planning efforts that foster data driven decisions, positive enrollment outcomes and a commitment to student development. 

The incumbent is an executive with fiscal responsibility for the Student Affairs Division.  This includes providing vision and leadership for student services and programs that reflect and embrace diversity awareness; promote open communication with campus leaders representing student clubs and organizations and support technology expansion that will enhance the efficient delivery of student services. The Vice President for Student Affairs works closely with the Vice President for Academic Affairs and collaboratively with Executive Staff. 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Terminal Degree in Higher Education Leadership and Administration, Student Affairs Administration, or a closely related College Student Services field from an accredited institution

  • Five (5) years of continuous executive leadership experience in higher education

  • A thorough understanding of the enrollment management and student affairs organizational model anda proven track record of experience in leading a diverse student affairs and/or enrollment management staff.
