Position Specific Information
 

Title: .NET/C# Software Developer--no ceiling on career advancement

Duration: permanent employment

Compensation: determined by experience, skills, and past achievements with rapid increases when demonstrated to consistently contribute productively and professionally. 
 

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of Lab information system application.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems related to an existing systems, and / or new systems, environments, and technology.
• Design, implement, and unit test application / system components.
• Provide assistance to other agile team members in researching and answering technical questions.
• Develop and maintain the software framework and services using the .NET framework, dev express controls and Microsoft technologies
• Participate in Sprint Retrospectives to discover new ways to improve and how to implement findings.

  

Desired education and experience:

• 5+ years’ experience of software development with Visual Studio 2012 or higher.
• Knowledge of the .NET framework 3.5 +, Entity Framework, Visual SVN version control server.
• Development experience utilizing C#, VB, HTML, JavaScript, SQL, LINQ and Lua.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2012, T-SQL, and Stored Procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate to define and refine new functionality.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

Nice to have experience with:
Hl7, Lua language, interfaceware / Iguana / Chameleon knowledge.
Working experience with APIs.
