Position Summary:
Be the lead teacher for an elementary school classroom. Teach existing curriculum, complete written progress reports, conduct conferences with parents, and communicate students' progress to parents throughout the year. Work closely with teachers, specialists, and administrators. This position is for a three month term.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and two years of classroom experience or the equivalent. Graduate degree and Massachusetts teacher licensure preferred.
Skills: Knowledge of major subject areas, especially language arts, math, and social studies, and appropriate elementary grade level curriculum. Strong organizational skills. Able to implement program and classroom practices. Strong interpersonal skills. Able to work effectively with a range of students and as a member of a professional instructional team.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, non-benefited position for approximately 3 months beginning in January 2018.
