Recruiter / Sourcer - Human Resources

Tufts University seeks an experienced Recruiter/Sourcer to work with peers and HR Business Partners in a highly collaborative manner with hiring managers to identify client staffing needs, to develop and execute customized sourcing and recruiting strategies and to create and generate pipelines for qualified candidates for current and future technical, administrative support or management/exempt job opportunities.

Key responsibilities of this position include:
Utilizing contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify potential candidates, conducting initial phone screens
Learn and become proficient with university-based HRIS, applicant tracking and CSL systems: is responsible for all activities completed in the recruitment workflow, managing applicant status in the applicant tracking system,
Interview candidates, manage pre-offer referencing and background checks, create offer letters and post-hire paperwork/systems closeout as required.
Note: the recruiter/sourcer may be required to Skype, Web-ex and/or attend meetings on the Medford campus and, on occasion on Boston and Grafton campuses and may need to work outside standard business hours during peak periods.



Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
Demonstrable recruiting and sourcing knowledge that may be acquired through 3 years of related work experience.
High School Diploma is required; degree preferred.
3 years of specialty recruiting and sourcing experience from a staffing agency, search firm or in-house recruiting team.
Experience using enterprise-level applicant tracking systems (preferably Taleo), HRIS, and other related internal systems; ability and willingness to learn and incorporate new IT systems is required
Experience using contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates.
Ability to perform advanced Boolean searches
Experience recruiting senior level, high level individual contributor and other niche/technical professional-level positions is required.
Ability to perform research on the labor market, candidate pool and information technology industry standards.
Experience with diversity recruiting and outreach initiatives.
Must be willing to web-ex, skype and/or attend interviews and meetings on any of the four campuses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in higher education.
Linked-in and other relevant sourcing certificates is preferred.
Post high school degree preferred
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
Travel between Medford, Boston and Grafton campuses required as necessary.
