Associate Treasurer - Treasury Operations

Treasury Operations is responsible for the University's cash management and forecasting, banking products and relationships, Ecommerce, debt management and financing strategies, investment of short term working capital and other non-endowment assets, processing of gifts of securities to the University, overseeing the School as Lender program and miscellaneous financial analysis and special projects.

The Associate Treasurer is the head of Treasury Operations and is responsible for overseeing all of the functions in this area. The Associate Treasurer will supervise the Treasury Operations staff responsible for cash management, debt and investments. The Associate Treasurer will be responsible for overseeing the University s debt portfolio, including selecting bankers and advisors, recommending optimal debt structures, negotiating terms, overseeing execution of transactions and monitoring the debt portfolio on an ongoing basis, including responsibility for post-issuance compliance for tax-exempt debt. The Associate Treasurer will be responsible for establishing and insuring University-wide compliance with credit card and ecommerce policies and procedures to ensure adequate financial controls and data security, including compliance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). In addition, He/She will also be responsible for; insuring the appropriateness of certain non-standard gifts, overseeing the investment of assets in charitable trusts for which the University is named as Trustee, maintaining foreign bank accounts and purchasing foreign currency to fund the University s programs abroad, and for reviewing and making recommendations on University policies relating to debt, investments, gifts and the endowment.



Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
At least 10 years of treasury and financial markets experience
Bachelor of Arts or Sciences degree
Word, Excel, PowerPoint
This position requires excellent analytic and communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate the efforts of others to achieve objectives
Preferred Qualifications:
A Masters of Business Administration degree is preferred.
Special Work Schedule Requirements:
Typical office environment. Occasional work required on evenings and weekends.
