Member Relations Rep/CU - FLOAT

TELLER/MEMBER RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE-FLOAT, MIT Federal Credit Union (MITFCU) (2 openings), to be responsible for delivering outstanding member service and performing teller functions in a timely and accurate manner. Will remain informative and responsive to members' requests while cross-selling products and services that enhance their financial relationship to the Credit Union. Responsibilities will include the input of member (customer) transactions via computer terminal to online core system, actively listening to members and other staff to identify issues and needs and propose solutions, providing information on Credit Union products and services to current and potential members, answering telephone inquiries from members, researching account information to resolve member inquiries, providing coverage to other member service branches/departments as necessary, participating in annual student and mini-membership drives, and implementing and complying with all policies and procedures of MIT and the MIT Federal Credit Union.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a high school diploma or equivalent certificate of education, a minimum of six months' cash handling/balancing experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, detail orientation, strong analytical skills, accurate typing skills and mathematical ability, good working knowledge of PCs and familiarity with Microsoft software, and member/customer service experience. Credit union, banking, or other financial industry experience strongly preferred. Job #15852-3

There will be travel to branch locations in Cambridge and Lexington.

Hours will vary by location 8:15 A.M. to 4:15 P.M. or 8:45 A.M. to 4:45 P.M Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods or in special circumstances.
