DIGITAL PRESENCE CONTENT WRITER, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL)-Alliances Department-Marketing Team , to write and edit content for CSAIL websites, social media, blogs, email, reports, research summaries, etc., and for individual research sites. Responsibilities include writing for websites, print, reports, social media, and briefings; consulting with Alliances team to assess topics to cover and contribute recommendations for themes and ideas; writing short copy for brochures, website, technology use cases, case studies, and event materials; feature-length storytelling in long form and creating articles on CSAIL's researchers, students, technology, start-ups, industry partnerships etc.; writing for corporate engagement and summarizing talks, conferences, and thought leadership series; content creation and curation for different print and electronic publishing platforms; producing articles, profiles, briefings, talking points, and/or other written material using subject matter expertise related to CSAIL news and research; uploading content to the website and social media; communicating regular project status updates; independently researching content; collaborating with the content team to select sources for interviews; guaranteeing clarity, organization, accuracy, style, and quality of written work; and proofreading all content and ensuring consistency of tone and voice.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED : bachelor's degree journalism, communications, English, technical writing, or related field; at least three years' journalistic, professional writing, or editorial experience; exceptional writing skills and technical accuracy; ability to work effectively and productively in a team-based environment with multiple stakeholders across all levels; strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, decision-making, strategic-thinking, interpersonal, and customer service skills; diplomacy, good judgment, tact, and discretion; and self-motivation. Must be able to prioritize multiple projects and competing demands, meet deadlines, remain flexible, deliver high quality results, and work under pressure. Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) helpful.
