Community Relations and Development Officer

COMMUNITY RELATIONS AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER, MIT Federal Credit Union (MIT FCU), to cultivate new and existing relationships across the MIT community as well as with the life science industry in and around Kendall Square. Will collaborate with Marketing and Member Services on capturing and cultivating business opportunities to increase MIT FCU's success in these key markets. Will report directly to the president/CEO.

MIT FCU, a $550 million Credit Union located in Cambridge MA, provides banking and financial services to the faculty, alumni, students and employees of MI;, its affiliates; and the life sciences and technology companies located in Kendall Square.

Job Requirements
REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree in business or related field; four years of experience in a sales, marketing, and/or business development role; collaborative approach; ability to apply refined networking, social, and organizational skills to creating and cultivating meaningful relationships with key leaders across the community; and ability to communicate the value of MIT FCU in clear, concise presentations to both company executives and employees. Seek someone who is passionate about the credit union and who understands the business and its products/services. Knowledge of and experience in and around MIT and/or the Kendall Square community would be ideal. Job #15464-O
