Physical Requirements | The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 25lbs; occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with regular repetitive motions (such as typing); utilizing mouse, keyboard, and phone for portions of the day. Ability to travel to various locations on and off-campus for meetings. |
Shift | Primarily days (i.e. Monday " Friday, 8a-5p) Please be aware that as an exempt position, job duties may occasionally require additional time in the evenings, nights and/or weekends to accomplish work goals in excess of 40 hours per week. |
Job Summary | The Platform Support position, housed with the ITS Enterprise Applications team, provides enterprise level technical support and integration services to assigned platforms. These platforms are typically vendor supplied 3rd party system(s) that provide core or accessorily services to specific departments, processes or other enterprise scoped endeavors. Technical support may include configuration, administration and development of intricate hardware, software, data driven systems. Support also includes end user technical support of all levels of familiarity with the associated system(s). In addition to technical support, the Platform Support position is the principal person responsible for integration of these system(s) with other core systems such as SAP , HANA and related systems. |
