Job Summary The Organizational Development Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing Enterprise-wide onboarding programs to support UKHC business objectives; designing initiatives to create positive new hire experiences and foster an engaged new hire workforce up to year one of employment; creating pre and post-hire experiences and writing online and print materials to support an engaged workforce from day one; leveraging technology and designing communications that speak to a broad range of generations in the workforce. Additionally, this position will serve as a Senior Facilitator in leadership and staff development by planning programs, courses and events that support UKHC strategic and business goals; leveraging all modes of training to support the workforce educational needs (e.g. classroom, written articles, video, mobile, WBT , online material, webinars, etc.), and efficiently leverages resources and technology to provide robust learning opportunities for employees at all levels. This position will also utilize analytics to effectively measure, monitor, and analyze data to enhance programs performance; partner with key stakeholders to implement best practices in learning; and stay appraised of trends in learning and development.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities The ideal candidate will possess strong management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing; strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to effectively multitask large projects or initiatives; knowledge of adult learning principles related to curriculum design and development; strong customer service orientation with respect for diversity; extensive knowledge in all Microsoft programs; knowledge of or ability to learn SAP Learning Solutions ( LSO ); demonstrates strong analytical and qualitative research experience; be well organized; sound judgment; strong work ethic; and a high level of integrity and respect for confidentiality.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No
Preferred Education/Experience Master's Degree in organizational development, human resources, organizational/industrial psychology, or business preferred. Experience in advanced facilitation and training, at professional level highly preferred. Certification in any of the following preferred: MBTI , DISC , 360 instruments, coaching, and other inventories (e.g., Hogan, Birkman, Korn Ferry competency modeling), and master facilitation.
