Job Summary | Library Discovery Systems Coordinator will assist in developing and maintaining the interoperability of Library systems and enhance their capability to be used for finding information and services. The LDSC will assist service administrators in configuring and maintaining Primo, Alma, Illiad, Ezproxy and other library systems. The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining data transfers between these and other Library and campus resources like Browzine, RapidILL, Reference Universe and SAP . Developing interoperability will include designing custom menus and interfaces by editing html5, xml, css3 and Java scripts to improve discovery by users between services. Working with the Systems Librarian, the LDSC will have in depth communication with all interested parties for the services including working with, attending and participating in various Library committees and work groups. |
