Job Summary | The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a Curator of Archaeology and Lab Manager for the William S. Webb Museum of Anthropology. This individual is responsible for overseeing all curatorial activities of the Museum; developing digital collections of materials housed in the Museum; assist the Director with NAGPRA -related collections and management; accession of incoming collections; facilitate and track loans of museum collections; oversee office and lab needs at the Export Street Museum facility, including direct use of lab and storage space and equipment, ensuring organization and management of artifacts currently in use for analysis; oversee organization, storage, and submission of artifacts for curation; and under the direction of the Director, conduct research on museum collections and facilitate the educational mission of the Museum. |
