Physical Requirements The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); work with individuals from various backgrounds; provide superior customer service; and learn complex systems and protocols requiring ability master related law, regulations, and policies.
Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, 40 hours/week. May be required to work overtime from time to time. We do provide limited staffing between Christmas and New Year's Day.
Job Summary This position will provide supervision to all of the PAR processors for the University. They will provide leadership, training, and oversight of all payroll documents and transactions to ensure employees are paid in a timely manner; ensure compliance with University policies, procedures, rules, and regulations; and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. This person will also counsel and train staff on correct procedures for completion of documents and entries into SAP .
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects, processes, and people while accurately completing routine functions in a fast paced, high intensity, professional work environment; knowledge of SAP ; proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent attention to detail; exceptional planning and organizational skill; effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to solve routine problems and manage resources; demonstrated ability to provide superior customer service, time management, and judgment; and respect for confidentiality and diversity.
