Required License/Registration/Certification Active Kentucky RN license, Temporary Work Permit ( TWP ), or active compact state RN license that is in good standing and American Heart Association ( AHA ) Basic Life Support certification for the Healthcare Provider valid for at least 6 months after employment date
Physical Requirements Sit for extended periods of time.
Shift Day/Evening shifts, with Holidays and Weekends as required by department needs.
Job Summary The Patient Transfer Facilitator coordinates the placement of all admissions and transfers to UK
Chandler / Good Samaritan in accordance with the clinical
standard guidelines. Is responsible for ensuring that the patient is
admitted to the most appropriate bed available using current
admission criteria.
Follows protocols for direct acceptance of specific patient
population.
