NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising based at Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS, is seeking a Content Program Coordinator to manage several essential programs. Under the general guidance of the Associate Director for Content Development, the incumbent’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to developing the NACADA Clearinghouse of Academic Advising Resources as an online international repository and resource for academic advising; recruiting and mentoring Clearinghouse authors and managing design and functionality of the site; participating in regional and national conferences as required to promote NACADA resources and represent NACADA to members; coordinating the year-round NACADA Awards program; coordinating and developing the Internship Connection Service; supervising and mentoring Kansas State graduate and undergraduate students in the performance of their duties; and supporting committees and division liaisons through content development.
The successful candidate will have the ability to maintain collegial and professional working relationships with diverse groups and individuals; be comfortable working in an environment with frequent telephone and online interaction; have excellent initiative and follow-through; and be able to carry out responsibilities in an independent and timely manner without extensive supervision.
