The UC College of Nursing is part of the UC Health System, which includes the Colleges of Medicine, Allied Health Sciences and Pharmacy, Hoxworth Blood Center and UC Barrett Cancer Institute. It also has long-standing ties to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, ranked as the second best pediatric hospital in the country.

The Position:
We are seeking to fill several tenured and tenure-track faculty positions with candidates who are prepared to lead and/or teach at the graduate or undergraduate levels in the following areas: Psych-Mental Health; Medical and/or Surgical Acute Care; RN to BSN; Gerontology. Faculty members in the unqualified track are tenured or tenure-track faculty primarily responsible for research, including a consistent pattern of obtaining external funding for research and publications in peer-reviewed publications. Tenured or tenure-track faculty members may also contribute to the pedagogical and service missions of the university, expectations for which may be described in their letters of appointment and in their unit reappointment and promotion criteria.
Qualifications:
An established program of research in areas of interest to the discipline of nursing and evidence of sustained, substantial external funding with an earned research doctorate in nursing with teaching experience in higher education at the undergraduate and graduate level. Must possess an Ohio nursing license and be eligible for rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor.

- May be assigned a leadership administrative role to coordinate or direct programs
