Program Coordinator

The University of Illinois Foundation (Foundation) is the official fundraising and private gift-receiving organization of the University of Illinois (University). It works closely with alumni and friends, faculty and staff, corporations and foundations, as well as campus development professionals to create fundraising programs and opportunities that benefit the University.

The Foundation has an immediate opening for a Program Coordinator.  The Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and administrating initiatives and projects through to completion, and facilitates related activities related to Advancement IT and data governance programs. The Coordinator prepares reports, presentations, and other specialized communications and documents for the department as well as compiling and maintaining committee documentation, documents, meeting agendas, minutes and assists in completing action items, verifies completion of deliverables and next steps. The Coordinator will be updating and creating business and system documentation including data definitions, policies, business process, and system standards. The Coordinator collaborates with various teams to develop documentation, manage timelines, and notifies appropriate groups about specific action items. The Coordinator assists in the development of mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of internal and external communications as well as their alignment with the organization’s strategic direction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in planning and coordinating activities. 
  • Demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of MS SharePoint, MS Visio, and CA PPM preferred.
