Digital Marketing Specialist - Webmaster

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Kendall College is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our marketing services team. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, this position will manage the Kendall College website (domestic and international), landing pages, and SEO efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and optimize the Kendall College domestic and international websites.
  • Review the website functionality and make recommendations for improvement for lead generation and conversion effectiveness.
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the website, ensuring that the functionality, navigation and overall performance meet the performance goals
  • Plan for, schedule, and design, content and functionality/navigation changes
  • Maintain brand integrity and structure of website pages, microsites and landing pages
  • Report on key website metrics using Google Analytics
  • Serve as primary contact for the website agency of record
  • Execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals - general and keyword specific
  • Implement link building campaigns in coordination with SEO goals
  • Assist in development and execution of communication/content strategies via social communities in coordination with SEO goals
  • Implement social media and other digital marketing tactics that contribute to performance goals
  • Keep pace with website, SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments
  • Research and administer social media tools in support of the social media strategy
  • Monitor web analytics dashboards and reports and identify opportunities to enhance performance and user experience
  • Support marketing team in the execution of other digital marketing programs across a variety of platforms
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed


External Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • 2-5 years of experience managing a website or serving as a webmaster
  • Experience with responsive-design websites
  • Advanced in website content management, HTML, SEO and marketing analytics, WordPress experience mandatory; proficient in Google Analytics and Google Search Console (other web analytics programs a plus)
  • intermediate HTML and Photoshop skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills; an ability to create clear and compelling communications orally and in writing
  • Superior time management skills, creative problem solving skills and strong initiative to complete projects on time; must be able to work independently, multi-task and balance multiple projects at a time
  • Detail-oriented, curious and self-motivated
  • A team-oriented and professional demeanor
