Position Summary:
This position is a visitor to the college filling a full-time, one-year position directing the College's Entrepreneurship Law Clinic at its Boise location. The Entrepreneurship Law Clinic is devoted to outreach of the startup and small business community in Idaho. It serves as the base of administration for the PTO-sponsored Patent Pro Bono program for the State of Idaho and also operates as a PTO Certified Trademark Clinic. There may be summer opportunities available to this position.

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have: (1) a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school or the equivalent; (2) a distinguished academic record; (3) a record or the promise of teaching excellence; (4) at least five years of post-J.D. practice, clerking, or teaching experience; and (5) active membership in at least one state bar and the ability to obtain Idaho bar admission by December 2018.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications for this position are: (1) teaching experience in the law clinic setting; (2) demonstrated ability to be a team player; (3) experience in trademark prosecution before the PTO; and (4) registration with the PTO as a patent attorney.
