Position Description:

Photographs, edits and presents images for various print or media using creativity, artistic judgment and photographic skills; manages the digital photo storage/archive system; collaborates with UR team to determine visual potential in support of University marketing efforts; and maintains and recommends purchase of camera and studio equipment.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Photojournalism, Photography or related field required. Associate's degree in Photojournalism, Photography or related field plus at least two years professional or freelance photojournalism experience may be substituted.

Required Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and communication skills required. Evening and weekend work will be necessary. Student experience will be considered.

Desirable Qualifications:

Advanced experience with digital photo management software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom or Aperture as well as proficiency in all forms of photography (portraits, products, candids, general features, landscapes and sports) preferred.
