Position Description:

Teaches weekly private piano lessons; prepares instructional curriculum; and selects appropriate repertoire for individual student performance opportunities.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in area of music expertise required.

Required Qualifications:

At least three years of college performance experience as a soloist and/or an ensemble member required. At least one semester of music education or pedagogy class or one year of experience private teaching also required. Student experience will be considered.

Desirable Qualifications:

Professional teaching experience, background in music education/pedagogy learning environments (master classes, festivals), and professional development experiences outside the educational setting preferred.
