University of Northern Iowa's College of Business Administration seeks applicants for a renewable term Instructor position in the Department of Accounting to begin in August 2019. Courses will include a combination of CPA Review, Intermediate Accounting, Principles of Financial Accounting, Principles of Managerial Accounting and similar courses. This individual will be involved in departmental activities, course coordination, student recruitment, advising and retention activities. In addition, Instructors are expected to maintain their professional certification and significantly engage with the accounting profession. Applicants will find a collegial work environment at UNI.

MBA or Master of Accounting from an AACSB accredited institution.

Required qualifications include Certified Public Accountant (CPA); demonstration of ongoing engagement with the accounting profession; a record of excellence in teaching at the university level; demonstrated organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; and experience administering or teaching in a CPA Review Program.

Preferred qualifications include evidence of ability to create an engaged and applied classroom environment and evidence of ability to advance the academic, professional and personal success of students.
