Position Description:

Develops, implements, and directs intercollegiate women's swimming and diving program; coaches team in practice and competition; recruits and reviews academic records of prospective student-athletes; counsels student-athletes on academic, individual, and team goals; schedules competitions and arranges team travel; administers the swimming and diving budget; trains, directs, and evaluates staff; and participates in public relations and fundraising activities.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.

Required Qualifications:

At least two years of experience coaching swimming at the collegiate level, club level, or equivalent experience required. Demonstrated ability to recruit student-athletes and proven administrative and organizational skills also required. The successful candidate must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa.
