Position Description:

The University of Northern Iowa's College of Business Administration seeks applications for Department Head in the Department of Accounting beginning in August 2019. The position requires exercising leadership at the department, college, university, state, national and international levels; advocating for departmental and College interests; developing long-term strategic partnerships; implementing departmental fundraising and scholarship initiatives; and overseeing department operations.

Education Requirements:

Ph.D. or DBA in accounting or related discipline required.

Required Qualifications:

Required qualifications include evidence of excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service that qualifies candidate for tenured appointment at rank of full professor and strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with professional certification; work experience in accounting; leadership or administrative experience; and understanding of AACSB accreditation standards.
