Position Description:

Provides education and care to Child Development Center (CDC) children; writes and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum; plans and documents parent conferences and home visits; maintains and updates children's files; supervises, schedules, and evaluates classroom student assistants and field experience students; and assists Coordinator with administration of the CDC.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required.

Required Qualifications:

At least one year of experience in a licensed child care facility required. Experience working with children birth to age five and experience with Microsoft Office also required. Student experience will be considered.

Certifications:

Certification in Early Childhood Education and current certification in CPR and First Aid or the ability to acquire certification within three months required.

Desirable Qualifications:

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field plus experience supervising university students preferred.
