Adjunct Instructor, African American History

Full/Part Time Status:Part Time Service Schedule:Fall Semester

Position Description:

The Department of History at UNI is seeking an adjunct to teach one course in African American History that covers history of black Americans from African background into 21st century, with emphasis on period after end of slavery. Course open to both undergraduate and graduate students.

Education Requirements:

Prospective candidates must have M.A. or Ph.D. in history and background in the relevant disciplinary area.

Desirable Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience.
