The Opportunity: This is a lecturer position and therefore the emphasis or both workload and expectation of faculty performance is on excellence in teaching in didactic and clinical settings in Nursing. Additionally scholarly activity involvement is recognized when relevant to informing instruction of classes, i.e. the scholarship of teaching and/or practice. To Qualify: Candidate must have a master’s degree in nursing and a doctorate degree in nursing or a closely related field and teaching experience and recent clinical experience in the area of medical-surgical. Candidate must be eligible for a Georgia Nursing License. The successful candidate will exhibit expertise in clinical practice and education, and have the ability and desire to teach in pre-licensure baccalaureate and RN-to-BSN completion programs. About the Nursing Program The pre-licensure program has had a long and successful history of preparing knowledgeable and highly skilled registered nurses. The nursing pre-licensure program has an enrollment of greater than 200 students each year.
