Job Purpose:
To assist with daily deliveries of all campus packages coming into the facility, assist with coordinating surplus pickup, and delivery of items, assist with entering information into Asset Works system, loading and unloading material within the warehouse, storage facility, and/or on KSU campus

Key Responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receive and deliver all campus packages coming into the facility
  • Process package through WTS tracking system
  • Create or enter information into Asset Works system
  • Coordination, pick up, and deliver surplus items
  • Create or update surplus information using the AssetWorks Management database
  • Loads and unloads material as needed
  • Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment
  • Answer telephone questions, and assist customers if any issues arise

  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
    • Able to deal with multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
    • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
    • Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite)
    • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
    • Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
    Funding for this position is based on revenue generated funds and therefore continued employment is based on availability of these funds
