Job Summary: The College of Public Health at the University of Georgia invites applications for a non-tenure track full-time instructor position. The position is an academic year appointment (9 months) with an opportunity to supplement salary during the summer. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in Public Health and coordinate the evaluation of instructional programs. The College of Public Health composed of approximately 150 faculty and staff members and 900 students. The anticipated starting date for the position is August 2016. Minimum qualifications are a Master of Public Health. A doctoral degree in Public Health, Health Promotion, Health Policy, Health Management, Epidemiology or related discipline is preferred. Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate instruction in Public Health. The position will be primarily undergraduate instruction but will also help coordinate student assessment across the college. The University of Georgia has a widely respected Center for Teaching and Learning for pedagogical enhancement that will be available for course development.
