To provide leadership in the planning, direction, and evaluation of the Associate Degree Nursing program in accordance with the mission and academic standards of the college and rules and regulations of the Florida Board of Nursing and standards of the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.

It is anticipated that the Dean will lead the process of applying for and implementing a new BSN program for the college.

 Holds a current license as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Holds a Master's degree or doctorate in nursing; if credentialed with the master’s degree in nursing MUST have a doctorate in a related discipline. Has a broad educational and experiential background demonstrating-ability in nursing practice, teaching, management and leadership, and interpersonal skills; a minimum of 5 years experience required.

A copy of transcripts indicating the degree conferred must be submitted with the application in order to be considered for the position.
