Nutritionist, Kinesiology & Applied Physiology

The Cardiovascular Core lab is seeking a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (must be licensed in Delaware) to support several investigations related to diet and cardiovascular health in humans. Under the general direction of Associate Professor Shannon Lennon, the Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist is responsible for developing, coordinating, and counseling subjects on individualized diet plans as well as be responsible for developing and overseeing the preparation of diets for several controlled feeding studies that last from 1 to 4 weeks.

The Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist will work independently to develop the meal plans and make appropriate decisions under limited direction. Familiarity with dietary analysis software is required for assessment of participant's dietary intake as well as development of appropriate meal plans. Additional computer skills required to enter and analyze data as well as generate graphs.The Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist will interact with faculty, graduate and undergraduate students, research technicians, nurses, exercise physiologists, and administrators across several University departments.

This 5 year position is supported by an externally funded grant and continuation is contingent upon the availability of funding.
