Police Dept Office Manager

The Naugatuck Police Department currently has an immediate need for an Office Manager with the knowledge and ability to assist the Chief of Police and Deputy Chief in all administrative operations of the department. The successful candidate will function as the secretary to the Chief, provide financial assistance with grant preparation and maintenance, maintain relationships with vendors and assist in the writing of bids, prepare purchase requisitions, pay invoices and record journal entries in accounting ledger, prepare Police Commission meeting agenda, attend meetings and record minutes.
