About the Position
The Football Video Coordinator performs duties under the general supervision of the Head Football Coach but works independently to provide video technology support for the football coaching staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
-Responsible for the support of video technology including the filming of games and practices, opponent breakdowns, film cuts and copy and exchange of opponent game film.
-Discuss recording needs with coaches; provide the coaching staff with videos from games and practices for performance analysis.
-Coordinate and produce football highlight films, recruiting presentations, media requests, alumni and athletic presentations.
-Coordinate and facilitates video exchanges between SJSU and opposing programs.
-Maintain all practice and game film; edit and distribute plays as requested by coaches.
-Troubleshoot and maintain video equipment and video library, including the storage and filing of videos.
-Train and guide student assistants, when applicable.
