Applications are currently being accepted for Senior Office Manager, located at the West City Campus. Hours are M-F 8:0 am- 5:00 pm. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

Knowledge: 1. Analytical and statistical principles. 2. Applicable sections of California Education Code. 3. Basic accounting/bookkeeping. 4. Basic principles and procedures of operating a variety of computer systems and software. 5. Community College organization, operations, policies, terminology, rules, programs, and objectives. 6. Computer information systems concepts, operations, capabilities, and application; budget implementation; personnel and financial management. 7. Computer applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. 8. District collective bargaining contracts. 9. District organization, operations, policies, and objectives. 10. English usage, grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary. 11. Interpersonal skills using tact, diplomacy, and courtesy. 12. Modern office practices, procedures, and equipment, including computer hardware and software. 13. Office management. 14. Operation, procedures, and precedents of the campus to which assigned. 15. Oral and written communications skills. 16. Principles and practices of administration, supervision, and training. 17. Principles, practices, terminology, and organization structure used in accounting and financial work pertaining to community college fiscal procedures governing the fiscal requirements of community college districts. 18. Procedures and practices used in budget analysis, preparation, and maintenance. 19. Record keeping techniques. 20. Technical aspects of field of specialty.

Pay Information:
Range 8 ($4,362.47 $7,283.31) per month based on the current Supervisory and Professional Employees Association Salary Schedule A
Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the SPAA Supervisory & Professional Administrators Association Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and does not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
