The Position:
Applications are currently being accepted for Research & Planning Analyst in the Office of Institutional Research and Planning, located at the District Office. Hours are Monday thru Friday full-time. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Successful candidates must have the ability and work knowledge to perform the following:Plan, organize, develop and analyze institutional research studies that support academic programs, planning and institutional decision making.Provide research data and information to support enrollment management processes.Provide technical and analytical support and leadership to the District Office of Student Services and other departments within the District. Design survey instruments and coordinate a variety of surveying activities; summarize and analyze results. Participate on, and provide research assistance to District committees.Provide leadership for and supervise support personnel assigned to the program.Function as on-going campus liaison between college and the District to provide technical assistance on various initiatives including: accreditation, campus research and student learning outcome committees.Proficiency in using statistical packages, e.g. SPSS, SAS.Working independently as well as collaboratively.

Pay Information:
Range 13 ($5,753.92 $9,606.40) per month based on the current Supervisory and Professional Employees Association Salary Schedule A

Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the SPAA Supervisory & Professional Administrators Association Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and does not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
