The Position:
Applications are currently being accepted for Media Technician in the Library Resource Center, located at Miramar College. Hours are Monday 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm, Tuesday through Thursday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm., Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.
Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Experience/Knowledge: - 1 year working in an Academic Library setting specifically circulation area - PeopleSoft/ISIS Experience - Training and providing work direction to subordinate staff personnel and student assistants - 2 years experience MS Office (MS Word and MS Excel)Certificate: Library Certificate

Pay Information:
Range 20 ($3,304.94 $5,275.42) per month based on the current AFT Classified Unit Office Technical Salary Schedule
Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the AFT-Guild, Local 1931 Classified Staff Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is FLSA Non-Exempt and may accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
