Hours are Monday - Friday; 8 am to 5 pm.

Selected candidate must be willing to adjust work days/hours based on the department's needs.

THIS IS A 2 YEAR CONTRACT POSITION ELIGIBLE FOR RENEWAL ANNUALLY FOR A SUBSEQUENT TWO YEARS.


Please note that an employee may be transferred to any site at the option of the Chancellor.

Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree (MA) in Human Resources or related field. Experience in a higher education environment preferred. Specialized professional human resources certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred. Minimum 3 years in a leadership role building and leading high performing recruiting teams. Minimum 6 years of full-cycle recruitment experience and experience managing a variety of recruiting programs. Demonstrated experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously and determining priorities based on what is most important to the Districts success. Success in driving and achieving results by setting goals, using measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals, and tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals. Experience in influencing and gaining commitment from key stakeholders to the actions that will advance their goals and Districts initiatives. Ensure stakeholders understand the hiring process and execute it with excellence. Ability to analyze and interpret data and leverage those insights into critical decisions. Self-motivated and action-oriented team leader with proven capabilities to motivate the talent acquisition team to realize their full potential. Working knowledge of Education Code and Title 5 mandates. High professional standards and strong interpersonal skills. Experience with ERP/HRIS and/or payroll information systems (i.e., PeopleSoft, Banner, PeopleAdmin, ADP, etc.). Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Human Resources technology initiatives including on-line applicant tracking systems.

Pay Information:
Range 18 ($8,813.65 $14,132.07) per month based on the current Management Salary Schedule.

Initial salary placement is commensurate with related experience and promotional rules. The District offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package including employer paid: medical, dental, and vision plans; sick and vacation leave; and opportunities for professional development. Initial Salary Placement, Promoted or transferred employees will be placed as specified in the Management Employees Handbook. This position is FLSA Exempt and may not accrue overtime. A temporary probationary period will be applied to the employee entering this assignment.
