UCLA Statistics & The Environment Faculty Search

Open-ranked faculty position (tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenured Associate/Full Professor) split in the Department of Statistics (50%) and the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability (50%) at the University of California, Los Angeles. We seek outstanding applicants contributing to the cutting edge development of applied environmetrics and the analysis of large environmental datasets. Applicants will be expected to advise students through our graduate programs in Environment and Sustainability, Environmental Sciences and Environmental Engineering, and Statistics, each with a focus on Interdisciplinary training.

 

We welcome applicants whose experience in research, teaching and service have prepared them to contribute to UCLA’s commitment to excellence and diversity. Ph.D. in Statistics, Environmental Science, or a closely related field is required by date of anticipated appointment of July 1, 2018. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
