The Global Health Program (http://globalhealthprogram.ucsd.edu/) at UC San Diego is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body, and invites applicants whose experience have prepared them to contribute to our pedagogical mission. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in public health, global health, epidemiology, or a medical social science, outstanding teaching and scholarship, and must demonstrate strong or potential contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the context of a large public university. The program is looking for lecturers with experience teaching undergraduates in public health, global health, epidemiology, and medical social sciences. Appointees will be expected to teach large, introductory courses in their sub disciplines, and a combination of upper and lower division courses, including courses on their own research interests. Appointments will be part-time or full-time, up to a total of two courses per quarter, from one quarter up to one year in duration, with the possibility of extension to a subsequent year. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and based on University of California pay scales.
