The College of Health Solutions at Arizona State University is seeking a Clinic Director with a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant or Associate Professor who will oversee the fiduciary operations of the adult and pediatric speech and language clinic and support the mission of the Speech and Hearing Science Program. The preferred candidate will have clinical experience working with adults in the areas of dysphagia, neurogenic communication disorders including traumatic brain injury, voice disorders, and fluency. Incoming rank of assistant or associate professor will be determined based on prior experience. This is a full-time, twelve-month, non-tenure track appointment which is expected to begin August 1, 2019. Responsibilities include managing clinic operations, providing a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitative services to patients, supervising SLP Masters students in our in-house clinic and off-site placements, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in speech-language pathology or related topics, and participating in clinic/program service activities in the development and/or expansion of services within the clinic and/or the Communication Disorders Master of Science program.

Required Qualifications
- Five years experience with University Clinic operations or equivalent
- Graduate degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology (M.S., M.A., or Ph.D.) from an accredited program and university
- Clinical certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) and be eligible for licensure in Arizona
- Five years of adult clinical experience in speech-language pathology
- Experience in direct clinical supervision of graduate and undergraduate students
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community partners
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical experience working with adults in the areas of dysphagia, neurogenic communication disorders including traumatic brain injury, voice disorders, and fluency.
- Experience providing bilingual services, Spanish/English preferred
- University and/or clinical teaching experience in the areas of voice, TBI, swallowing and medical aspects of speech pathology
