Lecturer in Technological Entrepreneurship and Management Program

Arizona State University 

The Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University seeks a dynamic, creative and talented individual to fill the faculty position of Lecturer in the Technological Entrepreneurship and Management Program (TEM). Applicant should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, student-centered teaching, both face-to-face and online, as well as a commitment to stay current with the technologies and practices in the field of entrepreneurship. This is a non-tenure track appointment with a fixed term academic year contract.

The Technological Entrepreneurship and Management Program is one of the outstanding programs at Arizona State University. The program is housed on the Polytechnic Campus and resides in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. Students receive a foundation in technology and business fundamentals with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation. The program prepares students to launch technology-based ventures, for-profit and not-for-profit, to tackle social and corporate issues to impact the world around them, or to offer innovation solutions for problems, processes or programs in a nonlinear fashion.

The candidate is expected to engage undergraduate and graduate students in a project-based educational setting involving team-based projects, teach undergraduate and graduate face-to-face and online courses, contribute to development and delivery of the programs, and participate in university and professional service activities.

Required Qualifications: A minimum of a Master’s degree in technology, business or engineering or a related discipline is required. A minimum of 3 years of post-secondary teaching experience and/or experience as an entrepreneur, social entrepreneur and/or intrapreneur is required.

Desired Qualifications:  Preference will be given to those who have both entrepreneurial experience (in startups, social ventures and/or business innovation) and post-secondary entrepreneurial teaching experience.
