About the College/Department
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Arkansas sponsors 19 varsity sports programs (eight men's and 11 women's). These 19 programs include more than 460 student-athletes who participate in the various sports programs annually within the National Collegiate Athletics Association ( NCAA ). As the only mascot of its kind in college athletics, the Arkansas Razorbacks, also known as Hogs, compete in the NCAA's Division I ( FBS in football) and are a current member of the Southeastern Conference in the Western Division. The mission of the Razorback Athletic Department is to assist in the development of student-athletes to their fullest potential through intercollegiate athletics.

Summary of Job Duties
The Service Assistant - Athletics is responsible for general cleaning of areas in and around office buildings, class rooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, residence halls, dining areas, building common areas, and other areas as required. This position will be responsible for housekeeping and custodial activities for athletic facilities as assigned. This includes cleaning a variety of floor and wall surfaces. This position must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds and work non-typical hours.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications
  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
