Summary of Job Duties
The successful candidate will 1) coordinate and manage research projects and logistics at a laboratory, 2) assist in designing devices and programming, 3) assist in preparing research proposals, reports, and publication, 4) conduct instrumental analysis for measuring food characteristics, and 5) perform data analysis.
The contract period of this position is 2 years, but it can be extended depending on the principal investigator s funding status and the successful applicant s schedule/preference. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

The candidate qualified for this position must have a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Sensor Technology, Data Science (Statistics), Biology, Psychology, Food Science or related fields. The successful candidate will be expected to be highly motivated and to have demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in one of the following aspects:
1) Electroencephalographic ( EEG ) measurement, 2) sensor or mechanical engineering, 3) computer programming, 4) 3-D printing, 5) statistical analysis including multivariate analysis, 6) rheology, 7) flavor analysis, or 8) consumer behavior and psychology.
