Summary of Job Duties
The Project/Program Specialist will work in the areas of course support and development for online courses. This position researches and assesses online educational needs and interests for targeted public segments, and applies this to the development of online courses, materials, technology, and learning approaches accordingly; ensures online courses meet quality standards and adhere to university regulations by working with Global Campus, Blackboard administration, and other units; contributes to faculty support and development; and provide one-on-one assistance to faculty in the process of design, development, and delivery of engaging, interactive and instructionally sound materials and activities that address various learning styles and are accessible to all students, including those with disabilities. The Project/Program Specialist will also contribute to the planning and delivery of annual faculty meeting; must have the ability to organize and effectively communicate, problem solve, and apply creative solutions. Other essential duties include contributing to program administration, website maintenance, and data reporting. This position will work with contacts across multiple units and departments.

  • Bachelor s degree in educational technology, higher education, or a related field
