Summary of Job Duties
The Personal Trainer will design personalized fitness programs with the intent to achieve established fitness goals; provide support and motivation to clients with a variety of backgrounds, fitness levels, and goals; instruct training sessions tailored to diverse fitness levels and populations using a variety of advanced fitness equipment; and administer health assessments such as PAR -Q, health history, body composition via Inbody screening and circumference measurements, metabolic rate via Korr Metachek, blood pressure and heart rate.

Minimum Qualifications: Please ensure that all relevant application materials include details addressing the minimum qualifications. Applicants not meeting the minimum qualifications will be disqualified from consideration.
  • Status as a currently enrolled student at the University of Arkansas
  • Personal training certification by an NCCA accredited organization such as ACE , NASM , ACSM , NSCA , First Aid/ CPR / AED certified
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Must possess First Aid, CPR and AED certifications or be able to obtain certifications within 30 days of hire
