Summary of Job Duties
The primary duties for the Clinical Assistant Professor of Finance will include: teaching a full range of finance and business core courses, 24 credit hours per academic year; providing office hours for students as prescribed by your department chair; providing grading feedback to students in a timely manner and turn in grades by departmental and university deadlines; delivery method of undergraduate and graduate courses may include face-to-face instruction, online, independent study, or other blended methods; and other duties may include, but are not limited to, cooperating with administration in program and course development; participating on college and university committees; serving on peer evaluation teams; and participating in department and program assessments.
Minimum Qualifications

- Candidates must be classified as Scholarly Academic as defined by AACSB standards
- Candidates must have a doctorate in finance from a nationally or internationally accredited university before July 15, 2017, and demonstrate the ability to publish papers in peer-reviewed journals
- Candidates must also have excellent teaching record and be able to teach courses in multiple areas in finance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in both face-to-face and online course delivery
- Candidates who have the CFA designation, have taught graduate-level courses or courses in student-management funds
