Summary of Job Duties
The Administrative Assistant serves as the first point of contact for students, parents, and other visitors to the Office of Study Abroad; answers phones, schedules appointments, answers basic inquiries and assists students with paperwork; assists with scheduling visits from program providers, uploads student data into study abroad management tool; promotes study abroad through social media, creates and sends out weekly electronic newsletter to students; and provides other program support as needed by director and other staff.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

  • The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
  • At least two years of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed.
